St. Elizabeth House

Transitional Living Program
St. Elizabeth House Transitional Living Program is home to 46 homeless adults who live in single rooms for up to two years while they identify and face complex issues
that caused them to become homeless. Working closely with case managers, individuals set and meet
goals that will return them to self-sufficiency and independence. While living at St. Elizabeth House, in addition
to providing intensive case management, individuals are served three meals a day. Mercy also works with clients to prepare
them for employment and job placement, with a final goal of finding permanent housing.
Last Year, St. Elizabeth House:
- Secured permanent housing 47
out of the 76 people who completed our transitional living program - Provided housing and intensive case management to 106 individuals
Jumpstart to Jobs
This employment program is located at St. Elizabeth House and offers a computer lab with an employment counselor assisting
residents with online job searches, job applications, job interviewing skills and computer skills.
Last year, Jumpstart to Jobs:
- Assisted 51 out of 64 people in finding jobs thru our Jump Start to Jobs Program
Community Respite Program
Short-term housing for adults experiencing mental health crisis, which allows them to avoid in-patient hospital stays. In addition to housing and meals, individuals are provided with intensive case management that assists them to return to independent living in the community.
Women's Program
A short-term, 90-day housing and supportive services program for women in recovery. This program works to
transition them from treatment into the community, or awaiting another level of care in their treatment program.
